Completion of stage II of the MFA project
On 30/11/2022, we completed the implementation of the 2nd, and thus final, stage of the MFA project, the main result of which was verified models and the MFA platform:
The project resulted in:
1) an optimized neural module responsible for classifying milk adulteration based on fat globules, and
2) an MFA platform to enable dairies to efficiently upload images of milk samples and analyze them quickly.
The software package, along with documentation, constitutes a product that can be directly implemented at buyers. With this, we have completed the research and development work in the project.
Agreement with the National Center for Research and Development for the implementation of the project entitled: “Development of an innovative system for detecting milk adulteration on the basis of AI techniques, called Milk Fraud Analyzer (MFA) ”
Project co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Program 2014-2020.
Project implemented under the competition of the National Center for Research and Development Fast Track – AGROTECH (Measure 1.1: R&D projects of Enterprises, Sub-measure 1.1.1: Industrial research and development research carried out by enterprises).
MFA project stage I completion
On June 30, 2022, we completed the 1st stage of the MFA project. Thanks to the data sets obtained from the subcontractor, it was possible to achieve milestones of the stage, which were optimized neural modules responsible for the classification of milk adulteration. All the design assumptions of stage 1 have been achieved.
In accordance with the schedule, we have started the implementation of Stage II, under which the MFA Platform will be developed on the basis of the data set collected from the subcontractor.2
Agreement with the NCBiR and project kick-off
On 09/15/2021, an agreement was signed with the National Center for Research and Development for the implementation of the project entitled: “Development of an innovative system for detecting milk adulteration on the basis of artificial intelligence techniques, called Milk Fraud Analyzer (MFA)”. The aim of the project is to produce a solution using AI techniques to help end-users detect milk spinning. The project was submitted in the AGROTECH competition (7 / 1.1.1 / 2020 Fast track – Agrotech) and is implemented by Promity Sp. z o.o. independently, and the subcontractor is the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, the Institute of Animal Sciences, and the Department of Animal Breeding. We started the project on September 1, 2021, and the planned completion is November 30, 2022.
The amount of eligible costs in the project is: 2,295,613.69, and the amount of co-financing obtained is: PLN 1,721,935.64.
