Role description:

As IT Product Development Manager you will be a part of the software development team. Your task will be to translate the product vision into application functionalities, define the scope of work and take care of the quality of the delivered solution.

By working with coders, testers and UI designers, you will take an active part in the process of creating and positioning products on the global market.

Your duties. You will be:

  • cooperating with the product team in defining, specifying and verifying functional requirements
  • discussing the directions of software development with people responsible for the vision of the product
  • responsible for the product backlog
  • collecting, describing and verifying the implementation of requirements
  • collaborating in planning and supervise the implementation of the publishing plan
  • supporting a team of testers in the preparation of test scenarios
  • collaborating with UI designers in designing mockups and user experiences
  • collaborating with the marketing team in ensuring appropriate product communication to customers and partners

A perfect candidate for this role has:

  • 2 -3 years of experience as a Product Owner / IT analyst
  • ability to collect and decompose requirements and describe them in the form of user stories useful and clear for developers
  • extensive knowledge of any notation used in modeling information systems or processes (e.g. UML, BPMN, ERD)
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of the basics of web application technology (to know what programmers talk about and what they expect)
  • excellent English – spoken and written (at least C1 level)
  • inquisitiveness and the ability to work in a team
  • practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies

You’ll get even more points if you have:

  • Knowledge of Jira / Confluence tools
  • Experience as a Tester IT / IT Customer Support
  • Knowledge of SAFe® and LeSS methodologies
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of projects
